21 Minutes Full of YouTube advice. There’s a little fluff in this one, and for strictly advice you can skip the intro. But, you don’t get to 2 million subscribers on just luck and good thumbnails. The advice in this video is solid, and definitely worth the watch if you’ve only got 20~ minutes this week.
Whether you’ve been at this game for a month or several years, they’ve got advice at all levels, definitely one of the better videos they’ve put out.

Thumbnail Breakdown

This channel gets on average 510 views. So a 44x outlier with 19k views is so impressive. Thumbnail alone, this is a crazy good one. Look at that juxtaposition, but something worth focusing on is topic. What do you know about North Macedonia? This open up a curiosity gap, something that makes a viewer go - huh, I don’t know that much about North Macedonia, but I can learn something in 11 minutes. This is why it’s so vital to figure out your ideal viewer. If you don’t - you run the risk of having this happen:

Well hold on, this thumbnail looks visually appealing as well. They doubled down on what works, so why does this have not even a quarter of the views?
Well - I can see two things
1) The juxtaposition isn’t as vibrant, the first A blends in a little too much. Small details matter
2) More people know about Canada. The curiosity gap is smaller. The audience is people who want to know about lesser known countries. Failure to understand your audience will leave you in small creator jail.

This Channel breaks a lot of rules, but in the best way. He’s not famous, but he’s in the thumbnails. The thumbnails I picked are some of the more well edited ones, but he has a lot of raw thumbnails on his page. He doesn’t have consistent video length, but here’s what he’s doing so well. He is focused. Every single video focuses on him overcoming debt and ‘getting his life together’ which is such a relatable focus. With the progression of his content, it’s like watching a coming of age movie happening in real time.
